About OUR TECHNOLOGY
Here it is! SyncPulseTech is a multi-sensory wellness platform, combining music with a myriad of effects such as electric (TENS/tDCS), vibration (haptic) and light (LED). The most distinguishing feature of SyncPulse are the precisely triggered multi-sensory effects, which correlate directly with individual notes/beats in music. The technology yields the onset, duration and amplitude metrics of specific voicings in a musical composition, e.g. kick drum, guitar, vocal. in a song that are then passed into the SyncPulse application/hardware, and used as trigger point markers for the multi-sensory effects.
This platform lends itself well to applications that seek to combine synchronized stimuli with markers associated with neuromodulation/neurofeedback, relaxation and pain management. The SyncPulse mobile application allows the recipient to select a sequence journey and specific song stems and map to different output regions, while music plays from speakers/headphones.
We are excited to explore one of the more compelling use cases for this technology - the self-regulation of the human physiology through biofeedback. For example, paired with a wearable, the SyncPulse application can trigger tactile pulses once a desired biomarker is attained, thus serving as as a positive indication or "reward" for this achievement.

Hardware Device - SyncPulse eStim
This proof of concept is the one that started it all - the Audio eStim was conceived during a chiropractic visit in Nashville, TN, while receiving electrical stimulation (TENS) treatment. The idea sprouted that the efficacy and mind-body connection would be all the more impactful if music was pulsing in sync with the electrons! As such, the idea was born. We earned a patent for encoding inaudible trigger points in audio files: US Patent 8.463.389. As many advancement are underway with electro-physiology, we are eager to explore how the SyncPulse system can enhance developments with related therapies. The device outputs electrical pulses with a metronomic musical rhythm (e.g. quarter note, eighth note etc.) encoded into a song file according to the patent. Wireless App - SyncPulse eStim/Haptic Integration
Next generation v2 wireless unit uses the enhanced SyncPulse system. Using Bluetooth, this application sends audio earphones/speakers, while synchronized electrical/haptic trigger points, are are sent, via BLE, to harware component. The end result is a synchronized, multi-sensory experience, combining individual notes/beats from a song with therapeutic pulses. We are exploring the possibility of combining both haptic and electrical into the same interface, which may offer more nuanced deliveries and treatment regimens. Biometric Integration
Our team is exploring a version that incorporates the SyncPulse triggering system in conjunction with biofeedback modalities. The idea is to provide a positive tactile confirmation when the recipient is able to self-regulate within a desired bio-metric range. Within the neuromodulation/ neurofeedback modality, once an EEG marker for a particular brain region is within a regulated state, the multisensory effect engages, delivering pulses with musical rhythm in real time with the live music playing. Kind of a reward and affirmation that the desired metric is achieved and takes the mind-body connection to new levels by empowering individuals to take agency over their physiology.
Lights
This synchronized impulse version triggers LED lights commensurate with note onset, duration and intensity. Further, the sequence of lights and LED color can be altered by the intensity and duration of a given note. This version is well suited to automate the arduous process of sequencing dancing light shows.
